Some young people named Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin were in their teens and were passionate about the medium who had been doing their first experiments with as C or Lisp . This led them to found their first company at the age of under the name Jam Software a company that would be the basis of the future Naughty Dog . Together with more video gameloving friends and Jason assuming the artistic profile and Andy the programming profile they began to work on their first games.

The first game of the two young people was a complete conversion to PC of a Nintendo arcade. On the advice of ones father an intellectual property lawyer it was never commercialized. Andy and Jasons first project of their own was an educational game called Math Jam where mathematics was taught. His next project was called Ski Craz Philippines Telegram Number Data ed and it was his first commercial game a ski simulator that went on to sell some copies quite a milestone for two yearolds . With the same distributor Baudville and still under the name Jam Software they published a game titled Dream Zone in which sold nearly units.

However both Andy and Jason had more ambition and their distributor was not advertising or distributing their games well so they decided to look for another one. Course Game Programming and Virtual Reality with Unity Electronic Arts and the first Naughty Dog game Electronic Arts in the s was not nearly the giant it is now. With three games under their belt Andy and Jason presented themselves to them and EA accepted. Not only did they finance the next game but they offered them of the profits obtained.
